Everyone has a story and here is ours..

A stone farm cottage originally built in 1901, holding history of the once upon a time of the families that grew.

Now a restored home to a young, growing family who enjoy the property more than we ever thought they would.

Our historic vineyard was planted in the early 1900’s, and once upon a time under water level, with river rocks running below the surface, currently sitting at 275 above sea level.

Rain is the only source of water our vines appreciate, with a deep, natural water course.

The uneven widths of the vineyard rows fit our old, original Ferguson perfectly, like the vineyard was made to suit the tractor.

In 2016, we began to bring the vineyard back to health. New posts, wires, retraining and a hard, much needed prune.

The season’s weather throughout the year, dictates the crop of the vintage. Our vines have minimal human input, to ensure we get a natural, quality grape. With spraying at a minimum, hand training, hand pruning, and hand picking – the vines are kept in condition.

We want our vines to continue to thrive, giving us a quality crop, with guidance as needed to obtain an extensive lifecycle.

Trees of apples, pears, figs, oranges, plums, cherry plums and prunes are scattered through the vineyard with olive trees lining the end.

The Victoria Creek runs through the centre of the property, leading elevation from the ‘house block’ to the ‘rear block’.

Our house block showcases our dry grown Grenache, with the rear block housing the dry grown Grenache along with a rare, dry white Spanish variety, Doradillo.

We pride ourselves on providing a natural, quality grape from the vine, to creating a quality, natural wine with minimal intervention throughout the entire process.

With hand worked vines, we want our wines to reflect this.

We aim for our wine to be a representation of the season, and age in locally sourced French Oak, whilst being bottled and labelled locally.
